In the even that doesn't work out, how would I update the BIOS on the mobo?

Since you're obviously on a computer that works right now, just download the BIOS file from the Asus website, put it on a USB drive and look for the Asus flash utility in the BIOS, should be under boot if I remember right. Well, I'm going through the BIOS on the mobo, and I noticed something when I went to look at the RAM settings.

Sounds like you need to resolve the memory issues, BIOS patching probably wont do much.

Try clear CMOS by pulling out the battery, and try spamming the Mem OK button.
